Wondring Himalaya
The Challenge
Wondring Himalaya, a boutique travel company specializing in Spiti Valley and Himachal Pradesh circuits, needed to attract high-intent travelers in a crowded market dominated by established players with larger budgets. Their previous attempts at digital marketing had resulted in low-quality leads that didn't convert into bookings.
Our Approach
We implemented a multi-layered performance marketing strategy combining Meta Ads, Google Search Ads, and WhatsApp automation. Instead of broad targeting, we focused on micro-audiences: adventure travelers who had previously shown interest in Spiti, Leh-Ladakh enthusiasts, and high-income travelers from Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore seeking offbeat experiences. We crafted ad copy that spoke directly to the desire for authentic, non-touristy experiences.
Execution
The campaign ran for 3 months with continuous A/B testing of creatives, audiences, and messaging. We built custom landing pages optimized for mobile and integrated WhatsApp automation to qualify leads immediately. Every inquiry triggered an instant WhatsApp message with package details, reducing the response time from hours to seconds. We implemented rigorous lead scoring to filter out time-wasters and focus the sales team's energy on high-probability prospects.
The Results
The campaign delivered over 800 qualified leads with an 87% relevance rate—meaning 87% of inquiries were from genuinely interested travelers who fit the ideal customer profile. The client achieved massive ROAS (Return on Ad Spend), with the revenue generated significantly exceeding the sub-1.5 lakh ad investment. The WhatsApp integration meant leads were engaged while their interest was hot, dramatically improving conversion rates. The campaign established Wondring Himalaya as a premium player in the Himachal travel market.
“Jai's Meta campaigns for Wondring Himalaya gave us 800+ leads with 87% relevance. The ROAS was absolutely massive. We went from struggling to fill slots to having a waitlist for our premium Spiti packages.”
